Top Line: The weekend has come and gone! How is it that the 24 hours of the weekend always seem so shorter than the weekday 24 hours?
Mr. Rangajan has sent me a mail giving consent to his mails being published in the blog. Thank you Sir. I hope you will continue to contribute to the blog. We want to see Project Bright take off soon with you as the Project Manager :)
Project Aqua has come to a close. Hats off to Mr. Rangarajan and Mr. Srinivas for making this a success. Special mention about Mr. Krishnagopal and Mr. Kannapan for the able support extended.
The terrace has been cleaned up and it looked pretty neat when I saw it. I will have to get some photos taken tomorrow. It won't be long before people go up and get it back to the usual - strewn clothes and rubbish. Some things just don't change...

Project Aqua - Closure
It is time to sign off Project AQUA. With everyones good wishes, patience and prayers we, the team of Sri Siddhi Flat Owners' Association, have completed the Project AQUA.
Mr.Rangarajan's general observations:
1.Meticulous Planning with lots of sleepless nights by Shri TN srinivas and me with the avid interests and patience shown by all proved very useful.
2. One very major innovative idea was to get the triple tank connected to the Bore Water Master line which enabled continuous supply of water most of the time-it was a boon.
3. Good plumber with neat executions was a plus point; however, he had two minor set backs - one-man working and there was no team and that delayed the process and secondly he had many fixed minds and getting him to do with flexibility was quite difficult; but then we can't change the world and all is well that ends well.
4. The days proved to be rank hot and standing in the terrace with them and going up and down 20 times a day was an ordeal& also to think they put on so much physical work in such sheer heat is a wonder.
5. On site support was available to quite an extent from Mr Kannappan; Mr TNSrinivas logged in quite adequate time particularly when it mattered and Mr Krishnagopal too made some level of support.
6.We take pride in that never once the work-time suffered for want of materials, since I was feeding the materials mostly with occasional support from Mr Kannappan and Mr TN Srinivas runnign around to buy without delay.
7.All flats have confirmed good supply in all outlets (except Flat no 10 finding some non-supply which has nothing to do with the master line relaying & we hope to decipher and attend to early).
8. We couldn't finally avoid one line going across, that of MW inlet pipe - we should soon cover it adequately to avoid tripping and breakages. The total costs against the approval obtained in the meeting for Rs 40000/- is as follows:{I had estimated the whole process at Rs 18000/- Material and 13000/- Labour. It is to be noted that this estimate did not consider full circle Master Line for MW which ultimately we decided to go for ( to the discomfiture of the plumber!)} and hence I believe the actuals have been ON THE DOT with my estimate due planning & proper quotes taken ahead. The Total Cost 34054/-; then we disposed of all PVC,Metallic removals keeping only a few good looking valves for future and got 1450/- for it, net 32604/- upto terrace cleaning.

Bottom Line: Project Aqua is closed! This means that there will be no more daly mails from Mr.Rangarajan and it will be entirely on me to run the show :(
Let me see what I can do next...
Adios...
